Does the HeRU have to be sent?
No. It must be generated digitally, carried during the service and kept for a year.
Who does the HeRU apply to?
Private hire, tourist, reinforcement and partner coach services in Spain.
Does Veri*Factu apply to on-board tickets?
Yes, simplified tickets are invoices too. Check your case with your tax adviser.
Which rules apply?
Law 9/2025 and DGTCF Resolution of 5/6/2026 (HeRU); Royal Decree-law 15/2025 (Veri*Factu dates).
